This list of members of the Vienna State Parliament and members of the Vienna City Council (11th electoral term) lists all the members of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council in the 11th electoral term. The electoral term lasted from October 21, 1973 to October 8, 1978. The inauguration of the deputies took place in the first session on November 23, 1973, the first meeting of the municipal council took place on the same day. After the state elections in 1973 , 66 of the 100 mandates went to the SPÖ , 31 to the ÖVP and 3 to the FPÖ . After the inauguration, the state parliament elected the state government Gratz II .

Functions

Landtag President

The SPÖ MP Maria Hlawka was elected the first female president of the state parliament on November 23, 1973. She was the first woman in this role in Vienna during the Second Republic. The office of second president of the state parliament was exercised by the SPÖ member Otto Schweda , the third state president was Friedrich Hahn .

Chairman of the municipal council

At the beginning of the period, the chairmen of the municipal council were Franz Schreiner , Herbert Mayr , Erich Ebert , Leopold Gratz , Ferdinand Habl and Maria Szöllösi . Herbert Mayr resigned from his position on January 22, 1976, and was succeeded by Rudolf Bednar on January 23, 1976 . Bednar resigned from his position on January 17, 1977 and was replaced by Fritz Hofmann on January 31 .

In the 1973 state elections, the mandates were assigned to the district constituencies (1 to 23) and via the list of remaining votes (RM).
