List of former Swiss railway lines
It lists all public, passenger-operated railway lines that have either been discontinued or whose passenger traffic has been abandoned. Former works railways are also taken into account. Funicular railways and the individual tram routes operated by the city's tram companies are not listed. Status: 2017
Relocated sections of the route, such as open lines that have been replaced by a tunnel, are included in the list of relocated Swiss railway sections .
