List of literary prizes that are internationally, nationally or regionally awarded exclusively or primarily to poets or for poetry .

The table can be sorted; parts of the name not taken into account in the sorting appear in italics. The Country / Language column specifies to whom or for what purposes. Germany means here that the prize is awarded to works who were born in Germany or who live in Germany or for works that have been published in Germany. German means that the prize is awarded to German-speaking authors or in German or for works published in German-speaking countries. Awards are also assigned to a country or a language if occasionally the award is given to authors outside the country or language area. The amount stated in the endowment relates to the first prize if several prizes are awarded.
