VfB Leipzig - Central German soccer champion 1911
The Central German Football Championship 1910/11 of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs (VMBV) was the tenth season of the Central German Football Championship . This year's championship was held again in regional Gauligen, the winners of which met in a knockout round . Defending champion VfB Leipzig won their sixth Central German championship title through a 3-1 win over FC Wacker Halle . With this victory, Leipzig qualified for the German soccer championship 1910/11 . After victories over FC Askania Forst and the defending champion Karlsruher FV , the Leipzig team reached the final of the German soccer championship, which was lost 3-1 on June 4, 1911 against Berlin TuFC Viktoria 89 .

The clubs were divided into 15 districts (Gaue) in the 1910/11 season, the winners of which played the central German soccer championship. Newly added are the Gaue Altmark, Central Saxony (entry of the Association of Central Saxon Ball Game Associations ), Upper Lusatia, Southern Thuringia (entry of the Association of Thuringian-Franconian Ball Game Associations to the VMBV) and West Thuringia (entry of the Association of Thuringian Ball Game Associations from 1905 and the Association of Thuringian Ball Game Associations Clubs from 1909 ), although no regular gaming operations took place in Upper Lusatia. The winners of the districts of South Thuringia and West Thuringia were also not qualified for the central German football final.
Gau northwest Saxony
The 1st class in the district of Northwest Saxony was held on a single track from this season.

The Association of Thuringian-Franconian Ballspiel-Vereine decided to join the VMBV on June 5, 1910, and the clubs were incorporated into the newly created Gau of Southern Thuringia. This year's Gaumeister was not yet allowed to take part in the Central German football final.

Gau West Thuringia
On December 18, 1910, the association of Thuringian Ball Game Clubs from 1909 was affiliated to the VMBV, it formed the group south in the newly created Gau West Thuringia. The Association of Thuringian Ball Game Clubs from 1905 also joined the VMBV and formed the Northern Group in this Gau. On May 21, 1911, it was decided to merge the two groups, so that the Gau could be played on a single track for the coming season. In this season the game took place in the two groups, there was no play-off between the two group winners. The group winners were also not qualified for the Central German football final.
