The 1992–93 NBA season was the National Basketball Association's 47th season . The regular season began on November 6, 1992 and ended on April 25, 1993. This was followed by the NBA playoffs on April 29, 1993, which ended in mid-June with the NBA finals . For the third time in a row, the Chicago Bulls won the championship with a 4-2 win against the Phoenix Suns . The Bulls were the first team to defend their title twice after almost 30 years.

Season course

All-Star Game

The 1993 All-Star Game took place in Salt Lake City . The selection of the West won the game after extra time 135-132. The game's MVPs became Karl Malone and John Stockton of the host city-based Utah Jazz .
