Angola took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . It was the ninth participation in the Summer Olympics.
The Comité Olímpico Angolano nominated 25 athletes in seven sports. The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was handball player Luisa Kiala .
