Prva Crnogorska Liga 2010/11

The 2011/12 Prva Crnogorska Liga was the sixth season of the highest Montenegrin football league. The season began on August 6, 2011 and ended on May 30, 2012 with the 33rd and final round.

Defending champion FK Mogren Budva could not repeat last year's success; the title was won by FK Budućnost Podgorica .

The twelve teams competed against each other in three rounds, so that 33 match days had to be completed. The teams that finished in the first six places after 22 games had an additional six home games, the teams in the lower six places had five home games. The bottom of the table was relegated to the Druga Crnogorska Liga . The teams in places ten and eleven played in the relegation to stay in the league.

The last-placed OFK Bar in the previous season was relegated to the second highest division after only one season, and was replaced by the local champions FK Bokelj Kotor , who was able to return to the highest division after a three-year absence.

Last year's tenth and eleventh-placed clubs FK Mornar Bar and FK Sutjeska Nikšić played in the relegation against the second and third-placed teams FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje and FK Berane of the second division. After a round trip each Berane and Sutjeska were confirmed as participants in the Prva Crnogorska League 2011/12.
