Rivello is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2674 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Potenza in Basilicata . The municipality is located about 62.5 kilometers south-southwest of Potenza . Rivello is part of the Comunità montana Lagonegrese .

history

Originally founded in the High Middle Ages, the community became significantly important through the convent of St. Anthony, which was established in 1512.
