Francavilla in Sinni (also: Francavilla sul Sinni , in the local dialect: Francavil ) is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4132 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Potenza in Basilicata . The municipality is located about 71 kilometers south-southeast of Potenza in the Parco nazionale del Pollino on the Sinni , which forms the northern municipal boundary. Francavilla in Sinni is part of the Comunità Montana Alto Sinni .
