Sannat is a municipality in the Massif Central in France . It belongs to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , the Creuse department , the Aubusson arrondissement , and the Évaux-les-Bains canton . The residents call themselves the Sannatois.

It borders in the north on Chambon-sur-Voueize , in the north-east on Évaux-les-Bains and Saint-Julien-la-Genête , in the east on Reterre , in the southeast on Arfeuille-Châtain , in the south-west on Mainsat and Saint-Priest and im Northwest at Tardes . The Chat Cros River runs along the eastern municipal boundary .
