The 2007/08 season in Serie B began on August 25, 2007 and ended on June 1, 2008. AC Chievo Verona , who had previously been relegated from Serie A , became champions. The other promotion places occupied the FC Bologna and the US Lecce . In the Serie C1 descend had US Avellino , Ravenna Calcio , Spezia Calcio and AC Cesena .
