The St Mary's University , briefly St Mary's University and St. Mary's is a Catholic university , located in Strawberry Hill , Twickenham , a south-western part of London.

The college was founded in 1850 as St Mary's College through the initiative of Cardinal Nicholas Wiseman as a teaching institution. In 2007, St Mary’s received university college status as St Mary's University College ; on January 23, 2014 he was appointed to a university.
The university's chancellor is Cardinal Vincent Nichols , Archbishop of Westminster.
