The University of the Arts London ( Engl. : University of the Arts London ) is a public university in London and a federal union of six art colleges .

The university was founded in 2004 out of the London Institute and with 27,970 students (2005) is one of the largest art universities in Europe. In 2006 the Wimbledon College of Arts was attached to the university.
