The Medical Faculty of St George's (full name: St George's, University of London and in English: St George's, University of London (SGUL)) is a Medical Faculty of the University of London .

The faculty was founded in 1733 and was the second UK faculty, after Oxford, to educate medical students. Until August 2005 it was called St George's Hospital Medical School (SGHMS) . Today St George's is located in the Tooting district in south London.

Clinical training

The St George's Healthcare Trust of the National Health Service of the same name is affiliated to St George's , so that medical students have the opportunity to work clinically at an early stage. For this purpose, there are also collaborations with various teaching hospitals in and around London, for example with the Epsom Hospital .
