School of Advanced Study

The School of Advanced Study is a group of institutes belonging to the University of London . According to its constitution, its task is to promote and facilitate research and in-depth studies in the humanities and social sciences.

The association was founded on August 1, 1994 and brought together eight different specialist institutes that existed independently under the umbrella of the federal structure of the University of London. Two more institutes have been set up since it was founded. The ten member institutes of the School of Advanced Study are:

The School of Advanced Study is also home to the Human Rights Consortium, which combines the research of the various institutes in the field of human rights with the work of external organizations and experts.
