Location of the municipality

Valdemorillo is a municipality in the western part of the Community of Madrid . The town, about 30 kilometers northwest of the Spanish capital, is on the southeastern edge of the Sierra de Guadarrama, just a few kilometers south of El Escorial .

Traditionally, the first bullfights of the year take place in Valdemorillo at the beginning of February, which means that the place is well known beyond the region.
