This discography is an overview of the musical works of the Norwegian - British DJ and producer Alan Walker alias DJ Walkzz (until 2013). Walker started as a producer in the areas of hands-up , trance and hardstyle . Since 2013 his style can be described as a mixture of electro house , progressive house and downbeat . According to sources and record awards, he has sold more than 13.9 million records in his career, including over 350,000 in his home country alone. With over 8.6 million units sold and number one placements in over 15 countries, his first single release, Faded, is considered his most successful record to date. In Germany alone, the single was awarded a diamond record for over one million units sold. This makes Faded one of the best-selling singles in Germany and the most successful contribution by a Norwegian ever.
