Arch is a municipality in the Seeland administrative district , in the canton of Bern , Switzerland . A parish and a civil parish exist under the same name .
history
The community is first mentioned in 1236 as Archo. In 1561 a ferry was set up across the Aare .

There are two castle mounds in the municipality, both of which are not dated and cannot be recorded in writing.
The facility in Schlatthole / Meierslihubel and facility in Schlosshubel / Biselee have been partially destroyed in modern times.
