The Biesenweiher is an approximately one hectare large pond in the area of Baden-Württemberg town of Isny in the district of Ravensburg in Germany .

The "Biesenweiher" lies at an altitude of 733 m above sea level. NHN , around 1.8 kilometers southeast of the city center of Isny, near the hamlets of Biesen in the south and Gschwend in the east.
Hydrology
The "Miesenweiher" has a catchment area of around 346 ha. With a size of 0.93 ha, an average depth of 1.1 meters and a maximum depth of 2.2 m, the lake volume is around 9,800 cubic meters.
The “pond pond” is fed from the south and west via two ditches. The pond runs over the Rotbach into the Untere Argen to Lake Constance and thus into the Rhine and ultimately into the North Sea .
ecology
Since 2010, Isny and Maierhöfen (catchment area only) have been involved in the action program for the rehabilitation of Upper Swabian lakes with the “Biesenweiher” . An important goal of this program is to reduce nutrient inputs in streams , lakes and ponds and thereby improve and maintain the condition of the water bodies.
The pond's catchment area is used 20 percent for forest and 75 percent for agriculture - 70% of which is grassland and 5% arable land.
