The Olzreuter See is a still body of water in the area of ​​the city Bad Schussenried in the Baden-Württemberg district of Biberach in Germany .

Hydrology

Since 2000 Bad Schussenried has been involved in the action program for the rehabilitation of Upper Swabian lakes with the “Olzreuter See” . An important goal of this program is to reduce nutrient inputs in streams, lakes and ponds and thereby improve and maintain the condition of the water bodies.

Ten percent of the lake's catchment area is used for forest and 80 percent for agriculture - 52 percent of which is grassland and 48 percent arable land.
