The Vallereyer Weiher is a still water in the area of the Baden-Württemberg community Argenbühl in the district of Ravensburg in Germany .
location
The almost one hectare large Vallereyer Weiher , about 1.3 kilometers southwest of the Argenbühler village Ratzenried and two kilometers east of the Ratzenried train station at an altitude of 672 m above sea level. NHN , is privately owned and leased to a fishing club .
Hydrology
The pond created in the Middle Ages now has a catchment area of around 85 hectares. The size of the water surface is 0.98 hectares, with an average depth of 0.8 meters and a maximum depth of 2.0 meters, the volume is around 8300 cubic meters.
The main inflow of the lake takes place via several ditches, the outflow via a Mönch to Hammerweiher and via the Obere Argen into the Argen and to Lake Constance / Rhine and thus ultimately into the North Sea .
ecology
Since 2010 Argenbuehl is the Valle Reyer pond on action program for the rehabilitation of Upper Swabian lakes involved. An important goal of this program is to reduce nutrient inputs in streams, lakes and ponds and thereby improve and maintain the condition of the water bodies.
The catchment area of the lake is used to 50 percent each for forest and agriculture (grassland).
