The elves Weiher is a 2.2 hectare large pond in the area of Baden-Wuerttemberg community Bergatreute in the district of Ravensburg in Germany .

The owned by the Foundation Liebenau located pond is located at a height of 599 m above sea level. NHN and around 1.8 kilometers south-east of Bergatreut town center, near the hamlets of Giras in the south-east and Witschwende in the north-west.
Hydrology
The pond has a catchment area of around 141 hectares. With a size of 2.2 hectares, an average depth of 1.7 meters and a maximum depth of 3.9 meters, the lake volume is around 37,100 cubic meters.
The “Elfenweiher” is fed by two ditches that run from the northeast.
The “Elfenweiher” takes place over the Girasweiher , Mahlweiher and Wolfegger Ach to Lake Constance and thus into the Rhine and ultimately into the North Sea .
ecology
Since 2000, Wolfegg (catchment area only) and Bergatreute have been involved in the action program for the rehabilitation of Upper Swabian lakes with the “Elfenweiher” . An important goal of this program is to reduce nutrient inputs in streams , lakes and ponds and thereby improve and maintain the condition of the water bodies.
35 percent of the pond's catchment area is used for forest and 55 percent for agriculture - 65% of which is grassland and 32% arable land.
