The Hengelesweiher is a pond in the urban area of Isny im Allgäu in the Ravensburg district . The pond has a to about 725  m above sea level. NHN underlying water surface of 7.2 ha , a volume of 125,000 m³, is up to 3.7 m and an average of 1.8 m deep. Its catchment area covers about 9.0 km². It drains over the Maierhöfener Bach , which is also the largest tributary, into the Untere Argen , one of the two upper reaches of the Lake Constance tributary Argen . The Hengelesweiher lies in a terrain trough that is flat on the ground and up to 200 meters wide, in the middle of which the Maierhöfener Bach runs with a gradient of less than 5 ‰ through an approximately one kilometer long band of wet meadows that belong to the aforementioned nature reserve. The inflows are polluted with phosphate due to intensive agricultural cultivation in the area with high water levels. The pond silts up very quickly. In the catchment area, 30% of the land is used as forest and 65% for agriculture, mainly as grassland .

The pond is mentioned in the annals of Isny ​​as early as 1551.

The Hengelesweiher serves as a bathing lake for residents of the city of Isny ​​and other surrounding communities as well as tourists. But there is also fishing here .
