The Haslacher Weiher is a still water body in the Baden-Württemberg town of Aulendorf in the Ravensburg district in Germany .

location

The 2.2 hectare large Haslacher Weiher , about three and a half kilometers northeast of the town center Aulendorfer the hamlet Haslach at an altitude of about 560  meters above sea level. NHN located, is one of the natural area of Upper Swabian hills . Today it is used by the “Aulendorf Fishing and Nature Conservation Association” as a fishing lake.

Hydrology

The Haslacher Weiher was probably created in the 15th century , and was first mentioned in 1426. Its catchment area extends to around 860 hectares. The lake basin is 2.2 hectares in size. With an average depth of 2.1 meters and a maximum depth of 4 meters, this results in a volume of around 46,000 cubic meters.

The pond is supplied via a ditch as well as the Schlupfenbach , the discharge via a regulating weir into the Haslacher Bach and the Schussen .

ecology

Since 2000, the cities Aulendorf and Bad Waldsee (only catchment area) with the Haslacher pond on action program for the rehabilitation of Upper Swabian lakes involved. An important goal of this program is to reduce nutrient inputs into streams, lakes and ponds and thereby improve and maintain the condition of the water bodies.

80 percent of the catchment area is used for forest and 15 percent for agriculture - 5 percent of which is grassland and 10 percent arable land.
