Copa Campeones de America 1963

The Copa Campeones de América 1963 was the 4th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 9 teams took part, including 7 national champions from the previous year and defending champion FC Santos from Brazil as well as the winner of the cup competition, the Taça Brasil , as there has not yet been a national championship. Bolivia and Venezuela had no representatives at the start. The tournament began on April 7th and ended on September 11th, 1963 with the final second leg. The Brazilian representative FC Santos was able to successfully defend its title from the previous year and won the final against Boca Juniors .
