Rating
The winning nation of the FIS Team Tour is determined using a points system. The winner is the nation that has achieved the most points in the five competitions.
For this purpose, all points of the entire team from the team evaluations are included in the point evaluation. From the individual competitions, the points of the two best jumpers of a nation are added to the overall point evaluation.
After the team competition in Oberstdorf, the winning nation will be awarded the FIS Team Tour trophy and additional prize money of € 100,000. The team has the right to decide independently about the distribution of the prize money among the jumpers.
Willingen
Team jumping
The opening competition took place on February 7th as a team competition on the Mühlenkopfschanze and started at 4 p.m. The Austrians already proved their favorite role in this competition. Even if Gregor Schlierenzauer, who was leading the World Cup at the time, was not part of the team, the Austrian team was able to assert itself just ahead of Norway and Finland. The German team was able to achieve 4th place with a clear gap ahead of Japan and Russia.
Single jump
The second competition took place on February 8th and started at 2:30 p.m. as an individual competition. After the suspension the day before, World Cup leader Gregor Schlierenzauer started and proved the strength of the team with first place after two rounds. The best German in this competition was Martin Schmitt in 16th place. After this competition it was already clear that the German team would have little to do with the outcome of the tour, after Martin Schmitt could not repeat his good performance in the World Cup. After this jumping, the Austrians were clearly ahead of the Norwegians in the overall tour standings. Finland was in third place.

Klingenthal
Single jump
The third competition took place on the hill of the Vogtland Arena on February 11th as an individual competition. Due to the weather conditions, the start of the competition was postponed from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., but could not start until 7:00 p.m. due to persistently poor conditions. The qualification was canceled the day before. Therefore, there was no previous qualification round. With the exception of Yūta Watase (Japan), who canceled his participation shortly before the competition, all 59 jumpers took part in the first round. The Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer also won this jumping. As a result, he was able to extend his lead in the overall World Cup ranking and, alongside Wolfgang Loitzl, who achieved 3rd place, ensured that the Austrians continued to lead the overall Tour ranking.

Oberstdorf
Single jump
The fourth competition took place on the Heini-Klopfer ski jumping hill on February 14th at 4:00 p.m. as an individual ski flying competition. After the Finn Harri Olli set a new hill record with 225.5 m in the first round, the competition was interrupted because the jury suspected further jumps and thus dangerous distances. After a waiting period, the passage was continued after the updrafts subsided. The four jumpers who jumped to Harri Olli felt that this was a disadvantage and protested against the decision. However, this was unsuccessful. The competition counts as counted.

Team jumping
The fifth competition took place on February 15th at 2:45 p.m. as a ski flying team competition. Surprisingly, the Finns were able to win the jumping ahead of Russia and the favored Austrians. Despite the 3rd place of the Austrians, they could not push Norway, which ended up in 4th place, from place one in the overall Tour rating. After the difficulties in individual jumping the day before, the Norwegians overtook the Austrians in the overall tour standings thanks to von Evensen and Jacobsen in Oberstdorf. Due to Felix Schoft's weak first jump, the German quartet was only able to reach 6th place in the team competition behind Slovenia and was thus only able to achieve 4th place in the overall Tour ranking.
