The First Division 1967/68 was the 53rd season in the history of the highest Maltese football league . FC Floriana became champions for the 20th time .

Compared to the previous season , the newly promoted FC Msida Saint Joseph and FC Qormi took part. While Qormi played for the first time in the House of Lords, Msida was again represented in the House of Lords for the first time since the 1939/40 season .

mode

The season was played back and forth. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. In the event of a tie, a decision game was played for the championship and the relegation places. The last two placed had to be relegated to the Second Division.
