from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2012 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the tenth season of the Formula 3 Euro Series . It comprised eight race weekends with three races each. The season started on April 29th in Hockenheim , the season finale on October 21st in the same place. The champion was the Spaniard Daniel Juncadella .

Rule changes

technical changes

From the 2012 season, a new chassis, the Dallara F312 , was introduced in the Formula 3 Euro Series . The previous vehicle, the Dallara F308 , could still be used. Drivers who competed with this chassis were also classified in Class One . With the possibility of using the previous chassis, the series hoped for a larger permanent starting field. In 2011 only 12 regular drivers took part in the races.

Hankook became the tire supplier for the Formula 3 Euro Series.
