Härtnagel (also Gut Härtnagel ) is a hamlet of Kempten (Allgäu) . The place is based on a listed manor, which was built under Prince Abbot Engelbert von Syrgenstein as Stiftkemptisches Spital in 1751. Härtnagel is on the road to Hirschdorf or Krugzell .
In the hospital there are three two-storey wings, with a gabled roof are covered. The main west wing has large arched panels, the north wing was built as a farm building. The south wing was built as a residential building with arched windows. The buildings were renewed in the 19th century.
A small industrial area developed in Härtnägel after the incorporation of the municipality of St. Lorenz in 1972. In 1987, 18 people lived in Härtnagel.
