The county Hadeln was a county in the Prussian province of Hannover . The district seat was in the city of Otterndorf .
history
The Hadeln district was formed after the annexation of the Kingdom of Hanover by Prussia in 1885 from the former Hanoverian office of Otterndorf and the city of Otterndorf. In the district reform in 1932 the county with the largest part of the adjacent was district Neuhaus an der Oste and the community Altenwalde from the dissolved district Lehe to Hadeln Kreislandvolkverband summarized.

A comparison with today's municipalities must take into account that some municipalities have since been dissolved, such as B. Westerende Otterndorf, which was incorporated into Otterndorf in 1929. From Osterende Otterndorf, which was basically also incorporated into Otterndorf in 1929, z. B. the district Brüninghemm at Neuenkirchen.
