The men's decathlon at the 2010 European Athletics Championships was held on July 28 and 29, 2010 in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in the city of Barcelona .
European champion was the Frenchman Romain Barras . He won ahead of the Dutchman Eelco Sintnicolaas . Bronze went to the Belarusian Olympic runner-up in 2008 Andrei Krautschanka .

The decathlon was carried out according to the same rules as today. The ten disciplines took place over two days.
- Day 1: July 28th - 100 m / long jump / shot put / high jump / 400 m
- Day 2: July 29th - 110 m hurdles / discus throw / pole vault / javelin throw / 1500 m
The rating was based on the 1985 point table, which is still valid today.
