Leoš Friedl (born January 1, 1977 in Jindřichův Hradec , then ČSSR ) is a former Czech tennis player .
Career
He plays almost exclusively in doubles and won 16 ATP tournaments in this discipline, all on sand. His partner was František Čermák at thirteen of these tournaments . He was also in a final 16 more times. With Čermák he also played his only appearance for the Czech Davis Cup team in 2005.
His greatest successes besides the tournament victories are the quarter-finals at the US Open 2006 and the French Open as well as the Wimbledon victory in mixed at the side of Daniela Hantuchová in 2001.
At the end of July 2011, he ended his professional career after being eliminated in the quarter-finals at the Umag ATP tournament .
