The tour of the New Zealand national cricket team to South Africa in the 1994/95 season took place from November 25, 1994 to January 6, 1995. The international cricket tour was part of the 1994/95 international cricket season and included three tests . South Africa won the Test Series 2–1.

prehistory

South Africa previously played a three-nation tournament in Pakistan , New Zealand a three-nation tournament in India . Between the second and third Tests, the two teams played a four-nation tournament together with Sri Lanka and Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 1963/64 season in England and was the first tour of the two teams against each other since the end of apartheid .
