Nozay has increased its population tenfold since the early 1960s. By moving to the commune in the Paris catchment area, the population had already quintupled from less than 500 inhabitants to more than 2500 at the beginning of the 1980s. After a brief period of stagnation, a second phase of growth that continues to this day began in 1990 with the increased construction of new apartments.
