The Hong Kong team took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in the Greek capital, Athens, with a delegation of 32 athletes - 18 women and 14 men - in ten sports.
Standard bearer
The swimmer Sherry Tsai ( chin .: 蔡曉慧) led the Hong Kong Olympic team as the flag bearer at the opening ceremony. At the graduation ceremony, the two table tennis players Li Ching (李静) and Ko Lai Chak (高 禮 澤) carried the flag.
