Premijer Liga 2001/02

The Premijer Liga 2002/03 , which is also called BHT Premijer Liga according to a sponsorship agreement , was the third season of the highest Bosnian-Herzegovinian league in men's football . It started on August 4, 2002 and ended on May 25, 2003.

With this season, in which for the first time teams from the RS First League could compete, the FK Leotar Trebinje became champions of the Premijer Liga .

This season a total of six teams had to be relegated. Four clubs found themselves in the 2003/04 season in the first division FBiH and two in the first division RS . As his replacement NK Travnik from the first division FBiH and FK Alfa Modriča from the first division RS were provided.

In addition, the 2003/04 league operations were reduced from 20 to 16 teams.

The 20 teams competed against each other in a total of 38 rounds. Each team played once at home and once away against each of the fifteen other teams. The champions took part in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League , the cup winners and the third competitor in the UEFA Cup . The last two placed were relegated to the second highest division, the first division.
