Reinhard Kuhnert (writer)
Reinhard Kuhnert (* 1945 in Berlin ) is a German author , actor , voice actor , audio book speaker and director .
Live and act
Growing up in Berlin-Friedrichshagen , he graduated from high school and then trained as an industrial clerk. He then studied at the Theater Academy and the Literature Institute in Leipzig. After various engagements at GDR theaters and briefly successful work as a freelance playwright in East Berlin , he moved to West Berlin after his release from the GDR Writers' Association . In addition to his work as a playwright, author, actor and director, Kuhnert is known as a dubbing and audio book speaker. He speaks among others David Strathairn , Anupam Kher and Bruce Davison .
Kuhnert is also active as an audio book speaker, for example in 2008 as an interpreter of In 80 Days Around the World (Audible). Kuhnert is the narrator for the audio books in the series of novels Das Lied von Eis und Feuer on the audio portal Audible .
Awards
In 1999 he won the Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin (award for promoting children's and youth theater).
