Till Ritter and Felix Stark are fictional characters from the crime series Tatort and work in the 5th murder commission of the Berlin LKA. They are played by Dominic Raacke and Boris Aljinovic . From 1999 to 2000, Ritter investigated together with Robert Hellmann in six episodes, whom Aljinovic then replaced as Felix Stark. The broadcaster Free Berlin (SFB) and Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) produced the films from 2001 to 2014.
The successors of Ritter and Stark as Berlin crime scene investigators are Rubin and Karow , who have been investigating since 2015.
background
The shooting location was the federal capital Berlin with its diverse locations. The Sender Freie Berlin merged with the Ostdeutscher Rundfunk Brandenburg (ORB) in 2003 , so that since May 1, 2003, all other productions have been carried out as Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB).
Figures from the Berlin crime scene episodes
Till knight
Chief Detective Till Ritter (born August 17, 1958 in Marburg ) is played by Dominic Raacke . He had started his studies in Berlin, but switched to the police because he had witnessed a brutal crime as a taxi driver. His local knowledge is very useful for police work. Thanks to his respectable successes in investigations, he quickly made it to the chief inspector. First he worked on the LKA's homicide squad with his partner Robert Hellmann. He got on very well with him privately and often moves with him through the Berlin club and bar scene. Since his partner Witteck was shot dead in a bank robbery, he tries to do as little violence as possible. Accordingly, his shooting skills are extremely poor, but he does not shy away from arguments. He likes to flirt with women very much and is also successful, but there is never a steady relationship. He likes to play very much and sometimes bets on horse races or billiards. The risk and enjoyment of the game are what make him so attractive. Winning is not that important.
Felix Stark
Boris Aljinovic plays the chief detective Felix Stark . He was born in Berlin in the 1960s, initially studied art for four semesters, but then dropped out of college. He also drew comics on the side. With the intention of starting a family, he decided to pursue a solid police career. But his marriage did not last long. Louisa left her child and Felix because of a conductor with whom she now lives in Frankfurt. As a single father, he lives with Sebastian with his mother. He's been raising him on his own since he was two, and so it is difficult for him to let go when Basti goes to college in England. Stark began his career first in the robbery department and then moved to the state criminal investigation department in the 5th homicide commission. He is down-to-earth, empathetic, loves analytical work on people and has a particularly good relationship with children. He is friendly and reserved, but can sometimes shoot unexpectedly ironic tips. The early days with Till Ritter were not easy because he was not taken seriously by him. He had to listen to some insulting swear words, which often has to do with his small body size. Despite or perhaps because they are both so different, they later harmonize very well with each other.
Lutz Weber
Commissioner Lutz Weber , played by Ernst-Georg Schwill , was born in the mid-1940s and dates from the days of the People's Police. He is a reliable employee and "a man for all cases". Like Felix Stark, he began in the robbery department, later switched to the homicide squad, where it wasn't easy for him to begin with with Till Ritter. But he's a minded person with common sense and a solid basic education. With his dry Berlin humor, he often manages to utter the unloved truths. Especially when, as almost always, he is at the crime scene in front of his two colleagues and sometimes gets a coffee. Most of the time, however, he is in the office to do research, process files or organize all sorts of other little things.
Wiegand
Veit Stübner played Kriminaldirektor Wiegand in 15 episodes from 1999 to 2009 .
Robert Hellmann
Chief Detective Robert Hellmann ( Stefan Jürgens ) investigates from 1999 to 2000 alongside Till Ritter in 6 episodes.
Hellmann was born on October 12, 1963 and has almost a photographic memory. Accordingly, he is a very careful observer and has a keen sense of justice. Professional competence is often paired with extraordinary courage to protect colleagues or victims. The fact that the perpetrators are usually one step ahead often leaves him in despair. That's why he quits one day to work as head of security at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Hellmann is sporty and quite fashion-conscious. He also gets on very well with Ritter in private, so they often spend time together after work and roam the pubs in Berlin. In itself he would like to have a family, but the job does not allow for a longer relationship. He likes to play darts and, as a left-hander, hits very well. In terms of craftsmanship, however, he is not very talented, but cooks well.
