Salcedo is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1026 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 23 kilometers north of Vicenza . Until 1889 the municipality was called Mure and was until then also part of the neighboring municipality of Molvena . The Lavarda limits the municipality to the east.
