Series A 1980/81

The Serie A 1981/82 was the 50th season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 13, 1981 and ended on May 16, 1982. As promoters, AC Milan , Genoa 1893 and AC Cesena from Serie B were added.

Juventus Turin ended the season as champions and was able to defend its previous year's title. Juventus qualified for the European Cup . AC Florence , AS Roma and SSC Napoli qualified for the UEFA Cup . Inter Milan secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year through Coppa Italia . Relegated to Serie B had to AC Milan, the Bologna FC and Calcio Como .
