The Serie A 1984/85 was the 53rd season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 16, 1984 and ended on May 19, 1985. As promoters, Atalanta Bergamo , Como Calcio and US Cremonese from Serie B were added.
Hellas Verona ended the season as champions and thus succeeded Juventus Turin . Hellas Verona and Juventus qualified for the European Champion's Cup as winners of the 1983/84 European Champion's Cup . Torino Calcio , Inter Milan and AC Milan qualified for the UEFA Cup . Via the Coppa Italia , Sampdoria Genua secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year. In the series B had to dismount Ascoli Calcio , Cremonese and Lazio .
