The University of Magna Graecia ( Italian : Università degli Studi "Magna Graecia" di Catanzaro ) is an Italian university in Catanzaro . It is one of the three state universities in the Calabria region and was founded in 1998. The university's newly built campus is located in the Germaneto district, around 6 km west of the center of the city of Catanzaro. The still young university consists of three faculties.
