Université de Saint-Boniface

The Université de Saint-Boniface (abbreviation USB ) is a public university in Winnipeg , Manitoba , Canada . It is the only francophone university in western Canada.

The university was founded in 1818 by Father Norbert Provencher . In 2011, the college was recognized as a university but is an offshoot of the University of Manitoba .

1500 students study arts, social work, translation, science, education, business administration and nursing in degree programs. The job-related training for the needs of the job market is unique.
