The Dominican University College ( DUC for short ; French Collège universitaire dominicain ) is a bilingual , Roman Catholic private university in Ottawa , Ontario , Canada .

The college was founded in 1899 as a Dominican religious school and continued as a school for theology in 1900 and a school for philosophy in 1902. In 1967, when it was recognized as a college, university courses in theology and philosophy took place. In addition to the French-language courses, programs in English followed gradually from 1992 onwards. The college works with Carleton University and offers Bachelor, Master, and PhD programs.
