Brock University is a relatively young and rapidly growing university in the south of St. Catharines , in Canada . Most students are undergraduates (first four years of study with a bachelor's degree), but there is also a graduate program (second university degree with a master’s degree). Founding date is 1964, a period of many foundations in Canada. The medium-sized university is characterized by strong growth and a good reputation for training. In addition to older buildings like the Mackenzie Crown Complex, there is a lot of construction going on. Today around 16,000 students study here. Over 70% of them come from abroad (not from the Niagara region ).

Arthur Schmon Tower

Brock University ranked second in The Globe and Mails 2003 University Report Expansion with several million dollar projects. Brock was named after General Isaac Brock , a fighter for the freedom of Canada in the War of 1812 . His last words, “Surgite! Push on! ”Are Brock's motto now.
