Brescia Campus (University of Western Ontario)

The Brescia University College is a Roman Catholic private university in London , Ontario , Canada . It is the only college in Canada for women only .

The college was founded in 1919 as the Ursuline College by the congregation of the Ursulines as an offshoot of the Anglican University of Western Ontario . In 1963 the college was renamed Brescia College and, with recognition as a university in 2001, became Brescia University College .

The university offers bachelor, master and certificate programs for around 1,500 students.
