Bishop's University: McGreer Hall
The Bishop's University is a public university in Lennoxville , Quebec , Canada .
The college was founded in 1843 by the Anglican Bishop George Mountain . With the recognition as a university in 1853 one worked together with the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge . A medical school was established in 1871 and was assigned to McGill University in 1905 . Until 1947 the college was run by the Church of England .
