The series was realized in Argentina in collaboration with the local production company Pol-Ka. The cast consisted of actors from Latin America, Spain and Italy.

Disney Channel announced that Violetta will premiere in 2012. The cast was first presented to the public on December 22, 2011. Violetta premiered on May 14, 2012 on Disney's Latin America and Italy channels. The cast visited Mexico City and Bogotá to promote the series and sang live at a Disney radio event in Luna Park in Buenos Aires. The last episode of the first season was broadcast on October 25th. action

season 1

Violetta is a clever and lively, if a little lonely girl with a special talent for singing. She inherited this talent from her mother, the opera singer María Saramego, who died in a tragic accident when Violetta was very young. Violetta's father Germán is an engineer and owner of a successful construction company that specializes in large international projects. Although Germán is strict, he loves Violetta more than anything. After his wife's death, blinded by grief and pain, he decides to leave Buenos Aires and move with Violetta to Madrid, where he shields her from the outside world. The only people Violetta has contact with in Madrid are her father, Ramallo and her tutor. That changes when the two move back to Buenos Aires. There Violetta takes piano lessons at the famous music school "Studio 21". Her new Head of House, Angie, helps Violetta discover her talent and encourages her to take the studio entrance exam. She and Ramallo help Violetta hide her recording in the studio from her father. What none of the Castillo family knows at first: Angie is the sister of Violetta's mother and therefore Violetta's aunt.

In “Studio 21” she finds real friends, but also her first enemies, and in the process comes across a long-kept family secret. She also finds her first great love there: Tomás and León, two boys with completely opposite personalities who are fighting for a place in Violetta's heart.

In the studio, Pablo quits because he was not there for the school performance when it had to be canceled because the scenery collapsed. This is due to Gregorio, who called Pablo anonymously and said that Angie had an accident. Then he brought the backdrop to collapse.

After Pablo's departure, Gregorio becomes the director, who uses every opportunity to demonstrate his power and terrorize the students. He is also recruiting Broduey, a talented dancer from Brazil, as a new student in the studio. What nobody knows, however: Broduey is Gregorio's spy and is supposed to help him uncover the offenses of the students in order to punish them. Broduey, who is slowly becoming friends with the others, doesn't want that, but has no choice because Gregorio would otherwise send him back to Brazil. Thanks to the support of his students, Pablo is hired again as a teacher after a while and brings another new student, Federico, into the studio. As it will turn out later, Federico is the son of a good friend of Violetta's father Germán and will live in the studio with the Castillo family during his stay.

A reality show is being recorded in Studio 21 . The winner gets a record deal and his own concert tour. In the final are Violetta and Federico. Although Gregorio manipulated the voting results in favor of Violetta, in the end Federico was chosen as the winner and left Buenos Aires to start his concert tour. Because Gregorio manipulated the voting results, Pablo becomes director of the studio again, much to the delight of the students.

After Germán learns that Angie is his sister-in-law and Violetta, despite being banned from studying at the studio, he decides to move to Qatar with his daughter. Violetta is not satisfied with this because she does not want to let her father destroy everything she loves again. On the way to the airport, however, Germán hears Violetta singing on a recording he got from Angie. Because her voice reminds him very much of his late wife María, he changes his goal. He lets Violetta appear in the year-end show. Before the show, Tomás explains to Violetta that he will be returning to Spain because there he was given an opportunity to live his music.

season 2

The originally named “Studio 21” is now called “Studio on Beat”. After Tomás returns to Spain, Violetta begins a wonderful relationship with León, but Diego, a new student, does everything on behalf of Ludmila to break the two apart. Violetta and Diego sing a duet at a live YouMix performance. When Violetta stumbles, she falls into the arms of Diego, who takes the opportunity to kiss Violetta and León in front of the audience. He then separates from Violetta because he believes that the kiss came from her. Violetta tries everything to convince León otherwise. León doesn't believe Violetta, however, and after a while starts a relationship with his motocross mechanic Lara. Violetta is therefore very hurt and in turn enters into a relationship with Diego. When León hears that Diego and Violetta are a couple, he becomes very jealous and tries to convince Violetta that Diego is in cahoots with Ludmila and is only with her to harm her. Violetta, who still loves León and is hurt because he is with Lara, does not believe León and asks him to finally leave her and Diego alone. Since León still loves Violetta and doesn't want Diego to hurt her, he tries everything to expose Diego. His girlfriend Lara, in turn, does not like that, who is becoming more and more aware that it is not easy for León to forget Violetta. However, since Lara loves León, she hopes that he can forget about Violetta at some point. She even ignores the fact that on their date he says "I love you, Violetta" to her and only sings to her songs that he composed for Violetta.

Germán still wants to protect Violetta above all and everyone, but has become more tolerant of her. Nevertheless, he disguises himself as "Jeremias", a piano player who teaches in the studio so that he can better control Violetta. After a while he wins the full trust of Violetta. Angie also falls in love with Jeremias, without knowing that it is Germán. However, when she learns the truth, she is hurt and disappointed in him. A short time later she decides to leave Buenos Aires and move to France. Jade and her brother Matías hire an actress named Esmeralda to separate Angie and Germán and then enter into a relationship with Germán in order to get his fortune. In the end, she not only manages to get together with Germán, but also gets along very well with Violetta, which is why Angie becomes jealous. Jade and Matías manage to get Germán's fortune. When Esmeralda and Esmeralda want to get married, the two blame Esmeralda, who then has to leave the country.

Violetta and León have to work together for a project and after all the disputes they finally get closer. They both realize that they still have strong feelings for the other and long to be together again. However, they do not dare to confess their feelings to the other. After Francesca, Diego, León and Violetta won a competition in the studio, they travel to Spain to perform there. Before the trip, Lara breaks up with León because she has realized that he loves Violetta, not her. When they are in Spain, León tries everything to win Violetta back, but she believes that he only wants to be with her because Lara broke up with him. A short time later, León finds out that Diego is actually only dating Violetta because Ludmila instigated him to get information about his father in return. As it will turn out later, Gregorio is Diego's father. León tells Francesca that after Violetta has performed, he will show her the video he made of the conversation between Diego and Ludmila. Violetta overhears this conversation and watches the video on León's cell phone. After that she is so injured that she can no longer perform. However, León comes to her aid and the two make up. Some time and a few more misunderstandings later, the two get back together and kiss at the end of the year-end show.

season 3

Thanks to YouMix, Violetta and the others are now famous. They travel around the country for a few weeks and give a series of concerts. After returning to Buenos Aires, León has a motorcycle accident and falls into a coma. Violetta visits him every day in the hospital and talks to him in the hope that he will wake up again. On the eleventh day after León's accident, she sings Nuestro Camino and kisses León shortly afterwards, whereupon León wakes up. When a new student named Alex shows up and falls in love with Violetta, León reacts very jealously, which ultimately leads to an argument between him and Violetta. When León met Gery and helped her to get a job with Gregorio, the argument between León and Violetta worsened. A short time later, the two finally separate. León has decided to leave the studio to start a band with Maxi, Andrés and Broduey. But since Gery is constantly with the boys, Violetta becomes jealous because she knows that Gery is in love with León. Violetta then disguises herself as Roxy and becomes part of León's band together with Fausta (Francesca). However, he falls in love with Roxy and tries to win her over, not knowing that Roxy is Violetta. After León kissed Roxy, he realizes it's Violetta. He's mad at her.

Gery, who is in love with León, takes advantage of León's anger at Violetta and spins an intrigue against her in order to further remove her from León. She hopes that if she makes León hate Violetta, she will get along with León herself. At first, her plan seems to be working. León actually turns away from Violetta. But after some time and further intrigues from Gery, León realizes that he still loves Violetta despite everything and wants to be with her again. He then kisses Violetta in front of his friends. However, although they love each other, the two decide to continue to be good friends, knowing that there will only be complications. After a while, however, their longing for one another is so great that they want to be together again. Alex and Gery, who notice the longing between León and Violetta, plan an intrigue together to finally separate the two.

Francesca is down after breaking up with Marco. She befriends Diego, with whom she later gets together.

Meanwhile, Germán meets Priscilla Ferro, Ludmila's mother, and falls in love with her. The two get together and get married. Priscilla then moves in with Ludmila with the Castillos. For this reason, Violetta and Ludmila get together and make up. When Angie returns to Buenos Aires, Priscilla becomes jealous when she realizes that Angie still loves Germán. So she forges some intrigues against Angie. When Violetta finds out that Priscilla Angie is making life hell, she confronts Angie. Thereupon Priscilla pushes Violetta off a staircase, which however becomes her undoing, because Germán finds out and divorces Priscilla. He takes Ludmila into his home. Gery and Alex (Clement) still keep Violetta and León apart. Alex / Clement notices that he has feelings for Gery and tries to prevent her from telling Violetta and León apart. Violetta finds out that Alex is Clement and helps him, whereupon León becomes jealous. Violetta and León only argue. Clement and Gery take their courage together, tell Violetta and León the truth and apologize for their behavior to both of them. Violetta and León get back together and swear that nothing and no one can separate them anymore. Ludmila and Federico also get back together when Federico gives her a star, which he names after her. Germán proposes marriage to Angie and a few months later they get married.

However, throughout their relationship, Lara has the feeling that strong feelings still exist between Leon and Violetta and therefore confronts him with her suspicion several times. However, León asserts that this is not true and that Lara is the only one who is important to him and that his feelings for Violetta are a thing of the past. However, when Lara overhears a conversation between León and Violetta and she and Diego catch them hugging, their doubts are reinforced again. While auditioning for the You-Mix Dance competition, in which Leon is participating with Violetta, she notices that the two still have deep feelings for each other and that their relationship with León cannot change that either.

She also realizes that León doesn't really love her. The only reason he's even with her is because he can finally forget about Violetta. When she realizes this, she finally separates from him, on the one hand because she doesn't want to be with someone who doesn't love her but someone else, on the other hand because she doesn't want Leon's happiness to stand in his way, and she now knows exactly that he can only be really happy with Violetta.
