1951 European Women's Volleyball Championship

The 1951 European Women's Volleyball Championship took place in Paris from September 12 to 21 . It was the third European championship in three years. The Soviet Union won the title for the third time.

mode

The six participants were divided into two groups of three in the preliminary round. The group winners and runners-up were combined into one group in the final round. In the mode “everyone against everyone” they determined the tournament winner. The group third in the preliminary round played for fifth place.
