European men's volleyball championship 1950
The 1950 European men's volleyball championship took place in Sofia from October 14-22 . As two years earlier at the first European Championship, six teams were involved again. The German team was not one of them. The Soviet Union became the new European champions without losing a set.

The six participants were grouped together and played “everyone against everyone”. The team that finished first in the table was the winner of the tournament.
